APRIL 30, 2025 –Accelerant Solutions announced today an extension of an existing program to jointly develop and implement the Initial Licensed Operator Training Program for NuScale Power’s advanced small modular reactor (SMR) technology. 

Building on the success of the 2023 collaboration, this continuation represents a major step forward in workforce readiness and SMR deployment. Accelerant Solutions will develop nearly 100 interactive training lessons, including technical overviews, system lessons, and operational procedures using their cutting-edge PLANT™ Learning Content Management System (LCMS). 

Project execution will culminate with a complete NuScale Licensed Operator training program targeted for deployment by early 2026. 

The scope of work includes: 

• Development of entry level technical overview lessons 

• Creation of all required licensed operator plant system lessons 

• Delivery of classroom training material for each Integrated, Abnormal, and Emergency Operating procedure lesson 

• A defined revision period for these licensed operator lessons 

• Support for the execution of a full scope initial class for operations instructor certification and operator licensing 

• Hands-on instructor training sessions
