Job Description— 2 Openings:

Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) Instructor – Must have held a SRO Instructor Certification for a CE (Combustion Engineering) PWR.

Role – Provide industry PWR instructors who have current training experience and qualifications.

Key task assignments will include:

a. Revise and deliver classroom lesson plans that meet all current site training requirements.

b. Revise and deliver simulator lesson plans that meet all current site training requirements.

c. Develop or revise required evaluation materials as needed throughout the program, this may consist of written exam questions, JPMs, and simulator scenarios. Support the administration of evaluations per the LOIT schedule.

d. Conduct student reviews and follow up meeting to meet LOOT program requirements in supporting the monitoring of candidate performance.

e. Respond to any instructor feedback received from management observations conducted on sessions they supported.

Instrument and Control Instructor – Must have nuclear energy experience. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, Design, develop and implement the Instrument and Control training program.
  • Integrate program curriculum into a predictable training schedule.
  • Analyze student performance gaps and apply appropriate remediation.
  • Analyze exam results for understanding of student and/or program shortfalls.
  • Provide oversight of student behaviors and demonstration of knowledge comprehension
  • Resolve programmatic gaps from student feedback and management observations.
  • Timely communication of program challenges and student academic performance gaps
  • Maintain program configuration control through the Vision™ software database.
  • Implement On-The-Job -Training (OJT) and laboratory evaluations.
  • Participate in Academic Review Boards
  • In field observations of Instrument and Control technicians
  • Maintain relationship with the line organization by participating, as needed, in hiring/selection process, training committees, job performance analysis and peer group calls.
