Deep Fission and Accelerant Solutions Sign Agreement for Nuclear Training Program Development
– Master Services Agreement establishes framework for long-term collaboration –
Maumee, OH, [March 3, 2026] — Deep Fission, Inc. (“Deep Fission”) and Accelerant Solutions today announced the signing of a multi-year Master Services Agreement (MSA) that will establish a comprehensive partnership to support the Deep Fission’s quality and reactor operator training development and implementation. The collaboration sets the foundation for ongoing joint efforts as Deep Fission advances its pioneering underground reactor technology.
Accelerant Solutions brings decades of combined nuclear industry experience to the collaboration, with expertise spanning workforce qualification, procedure development, and regulatory readiness for both operating plants and advanced reactor programs.
Deep Fission is developing small modular reactors designed to be placed one mile below Earth’s surface—an approach that aims to enhance safety, minimizes surface infrastructure, and offer the potential to significantly reduce construction costs. The company was selected for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Pilot Reactor Program in 2025 and is engaged with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on its path to commercialization.
As advanced reactor technologies move from design toward deployment, the companies bringing them to market face a shared challenge: building the workforce and operational infrastructure to match the pace of innovation. Meeting that moment requires experienced partners who can help bridge that gap.
“Deep Fission is taking a fresh approach to nuclear energy by leveraging established technologies to enable safer and more cost effective deployment”, said Michael Brasel, Chief Operating Officer of Deep Fission. “Accelerant Solutions brings the depth of nuclear experience and the operational mindset we need. We’re confident this partnership will help us execute with greater speed and rigor as we move toward our goals.”
“Deep Fission represents exactly the kind of bold thinking the nuclear industry needs right now,” said Billy Mack, President of Accelerant Solutions. “We believe in what they’re building and the team behind it. We’re honored to support their journey—and genuinely excited about what we’ll achieve together.”
Work under the agreement begins immediately, marking the first step in what both companies expect to be a long-term partnership.
